Free Professional Dog Training for adopted dogs!
If you adopt a dog from a shelter, humane society, or rescue group, and live in Santa Barbara County, you are eligible for this great offer!

Wesley
A nice German couple was the ticket for Wesley. They say that he will be "spoiled rotten", but are determined to "get the weight off". Sounds like an oxymoron to us, but it will definitely mean Happy Tails to Wesley !
Coco
Coco, our beautiful little female chihuahua, was adopted by a wonderful couple who have another little chihuahua. She's in a very happy home getting lots of love and attention. Happy Tails to you Coco !
Zazu
The folks that adopted Zazu have always been chihuahua fans, but they knew right away that Zazu was the one for them. Fortunately, Zazu felt the same way. Happy Tails to you, Zazu !
Teddy
Teddy won the hearts of a young couple who really wanted a Shih-tzu. They believe that Teddy was the "right one" for them. Happy Tails to you, Teddy !
Jelly
With perfect marks for 'sit' and 'stay' and a jump on puppy training classes thanks to a dedicated K-9 PALS volunteer, Jelly went home today to a nice young couple who were smitten with his good behaviors. This pup will grow up and up, learning all about the good things with them. Happy Tails to you, Jelly!
Bambi
Because of her traits that made her a candidate for "world's most perfect dog", Bambi was accepted by a local rescue organization that has more resources to locate her forever home. Happy Tails to you, Bambi !
Alice
Alice took only a moment to focus in on her new people--and vice versa. Our most faithful 'little dog' volunteer introduced her own sister, brother-in-law and niece to Alice. Alice (now Lucy) will be enjoying a home with all of them. Happy Tails to you, Alice!
Luna
K-9 PALS volunteer from Romania, who took care of our little puppy Luna during her critical early stage, took the plunge and became a member of the Foster Failure Club today. Luna was renamed "Aluna" which means Peanut in Romania because of her color, but also--according to the foster mom--because "she is a little bit nuts"! Happy Tails to Aluna!
Meg
Our sweet girl Meg went home with a lovely family and their big dog, Toby, who was immediately smitten with her. We have no doubt that she will have a happy life complete with some RV camping experiences. Happy Tails to you Meg!
Sweet Pea
Sweet Pea, a volunteer favorite, went home with a lovely young couple who plan on taking her for lots of walks and spending lots of quality time with her. Happy Tails to you Sweet Pea !!
Wrigley
Happy Tails to Wrigley who graduated with flying colors from his foster care home to his forever home !
Luke
Happy Tails to Luke who went to his forever home with litter mate Leia !
Leia

Apache
Waldo
Waldo (now Wally) adopted to a family with 2 Jack Russell Terriers. They are total terrier lovers and they were smitten with Waldo. Happy Tails to you, Wally !
Rafiki
Shelter volunteer favorite, precious Rafiki, was adopted to a nice couple on Valentine's Day. Rafiki will live a charmed life along with their other Chihuahua, Hanna Rose and a very sweet and gentle Malamute/Wolf Hybrid. Happy Tails to you, Rafiki !
Nala
Nala went to a family with two older children and a little MinPin where she will be well-loved. Bonus for the other shelter dogs...The daughter is thinking she would like to become a shelter volunteer! Happy Tails to Nala!
Angel
Angel, our most popular pup, was adopted by a man with 3 kids. One thing is for sure...Angel will get plenty of play time with them. Happy Tails to you, Angel!
Reno
As the foster family writes: "Happy puppy, Reno, found his forever home with a highly responsible mom, son and well-behaved K-9 PALS alumni, Daisy. All of them will give Reno much love and guidance as he continues to take on the world and become another wonderful family-orientated "Perfect Pit." Best wishes! We love you, Reno!"
 Bella
Pearl
Pearl went home to join a very nice family, including a Lieutenant from the SB Police Dept. Pearl will get all the exercise she wants and needs because the dad is a runner. Happy Tails to you, Pearl!
Cricket
Cricket got a lot of volunteer help to make his match. One volunteer brought in a friend who fell in love. Another volunteer drove to the home to introduce the lucky boy to the rest of the family, and a match was made. Happy Tails to you, Cricket!
Nike
Nike was deemed the perfect little dog by his foster family. As a result, he will be going to live with their son and his wife who have been waiting for just the right companion. They have already renamed him Niles. Happy Tails to you little guy!
