K-9 PALS' Special Funds, Programs, and Giving Opportunities
K-9 PALS is a California non profit tax-exempt corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS
Making a contribution to K-9 PALS will ensure the gift of care for stray and abandoned dogs of Santa Barbara County! All donations go directly towards caring for and finding homes for our Shelter dogs.
You may make a donation to any of these categories or make an unrestricted donation.
- General Fund used for everything for daily dog care and operations, and helps protect our heavily used Medical Fund.
- Medical Fund for surgeries, medications, diagnostic procedures, medical equipment and supplies.
- Peanut Fund for needs of senior dogs
- Jasper Fund for extraordinary medical procedures for needy dogs, such as orthopediic surgeries, eye surgeries, and life saving procedures for critically ill dogs.
- Building Fund to ensure stray and abandoned dogs of Santa Barbara County will be provided with shelter for years to come.

- Donor Option for a Commemorative Kennel Plaque
K-9 PALS Donors will now be able to honor their family, pets, and friends, with a customized plaque that will be displayed on a dog kennel at the Shelter. The gold colored plaque will display up to 30 words of the donor's choice. Donation for a one year plaque is a minimum of $100.

Your tax-deductible gift to K-9 PALS is so important to the needs of these dogs – here are some ways your donation to K-9 PALS will be spent:
Medical care – surgeries, treatments for serious diseases,lab and diagnostic tests, X-rays, medications, and special diets.
Comforts – beds, blankets, treats, grooming equipment, construction of play yards and for facility maintenance.
Training – training programs, videos, agility equipment, and other training supplies.

Got an old car you want to get rid of but don't want to hassle with selling it? You can donate your car to Cars 4 Causes and designate K9 PALS to receive a portion of the proceeds.

eScrip Fundraising Program
K-9 PALS has enrolled with the eScrip fundraising program. By using your grocery cards, such as Vons Club, or your debit or credit cards, you
can make contributions to K-9 PALS by shopping at many local merchants.
Simply register online at www.escrip.com and link your existing grocery, debit, or credit cards for use in the fundraising program. When you are asked which groups you want to support, select K-9 PALS, Group ID#150627604.
A contribution based on the amount of your purchase at a participating eScrip merchant will be made to K-9 PALS. Local participating merchants include; Baja Fresh, Big 5 Sporting Goods, Carl's Jr., Eddie Bauer, OfficeMax, Orchard Supply Hardware, Payless Shoe Source, Pep Boys, Round Table Pizza, ServiceMaster, and Vons.
