Bo
Chihuahua / Pug Mix
Sex: neutered male
Age: 11 Years
Size: 10 lbs
Bo was adopted as a puppy from the shelter and lived happily with an older woman.

Bo's owner died recently and he has once again found himself at the Santa Barbara Shelter.

He is adjusting well and gets along with other small dogs; he is good with guinea pigs (doesn't seem that interested in them); he walks fast on a leash because he can't wait to get to the next smell; his legs are short and his body is slightly overweight but he is working on eating less and exercising more. He has expressive big eyes and responds well to humans--has to know you well before you pick him up but he happily roams around your feet and would be fine if you sat on the floor with him. He is developing trust and that seems natural since he had a good home and then the next day he was at the shelter. If you give him a chance he will not disappoint you; a true loyal little guy who needs someone to cherish him.

Bo is trying to adjust to his new surroundings while he waits for his second chance at a forever home.

Bo can be very affectionate, and he will bond to the right person who will become his new owner.

He already knows sit and he likes to chase balls.

Bo may have had too much to eat before returning to the shelter as he is over his ideal weight.
