Another Shelter Dog Helped by K-9 PALS
MANDY, an 20-month old happy, alert, energetic German Shepherd mix pup, entered the SB shelter limping after being hit by a car. She had a lame leg. When she was examined by a vet, they found a deep wound in her foot. K-9 PALS paid for the diagnostics and agreed to cover the costs of the reconstructive surgery necessary to repair the wound at the vet hospital. Mandy is currently recovering in a foster home.
