My name is Kodi. I came to the shelter a year ago because some landlord (whatever that is) did not want any dogs around. Since then I've been waiting and hoping that my perfect person or family will come along to meet me.
I don't know who my parents are, but the shape of my head makes me wonder if my grandfather was a great dane. I am a very handsome and healthy black dog with a serious side to me, which keeps me calm - and that is a good thing in a dog, or so I've been told.
Sometimes it takes me a little time to feel comfortable with someone new, but when the fun starts I am ready to play.
I do well in training classes and on offsite walks, where I love to wriggle around on the grass to scratch my back. I am interested in other dogs and you'll see my tail wagging fast when I have a chance to meet one. I always liked smaller dogs and now I'm more used to dogs my own size and even bigger. I am very friendly and sociable with them.
