Emmet is treat motivated to learn new things. He likes other dogs and he walks nicely on a leash until he sees another dog and then he wants to go over to say hi. He rides well in a car and wants to smell everything. He has played with other dogs and does a vocal sound while playing but is able to calm down as well. He seems to have short
high energy bursts - likes to run around the yard and then he rests for long periods. A volunteer took him home for a visit and he did really well on a two mile run. He is very submissive to people and will roll over for a tummy scratch; he will probably bond very fast to his forever home.
