Panda
Chow Chow
Sex: neutered male
Age: 20 Years
Size: 70 lbs
Sweet senior chow chow boy found on the streets and taken to the local county stray shelter. No one came for him. He was in pretty rough shape, a big awful nasty mass on the base of his tail, and very neglected haircoat and bad skin condition. K-9 PALS was called to ask to take care Panda's medical conditions. The first thing we did was provide him with special medications and food and pre-surgery diagnostics. Then we had the surgery done to remove the mass. Unfortunately due to the size and location of the mass Panda also had to have his tail amputated. He did very well through surgery and recovery, he is growing back a healthy coat of hair and he is ready for adoption. To adopt Panda visit the SBCAS Goleta shelter or call 805-681-5285 for information and tell them you saw Panda on the K-9 PALS website.

K-9 PALS is seeking donations to pay for Panda's vet care and surgery costs, which are over $1,000. So if you would like to help Panda please click on any donate button on the www.k-9pals.org website or send donation checks to K-9 PALS, P.O. Box 60755, Santa Barbara, CA 93160-0755. To those who donate, Thank you for helping and being one of the true guardians of homeless and abandoned dogs.
