Kandy is an adorable American Staffordshire Terrier/Boston Terrier mix. Yes, that 's right, we have the DNA test to prove it. She has wonderful ears that each have a mind of their own, and the most irresistable, big happy smile. Kandy has been kennelmates with big and small dogs. Kandy makes friends easily, see her play with Cali while in the shelter. See her play in this video. Her friend, Cali, got adopted, so Kandy is anxious to find her forever home--maybe complete with a built-in playmate!
Kandy is gentle, sweet and a very well-behaved darling dog that enjoys her time time out of the shelter so that she can be introduced to new things which has built her confidence. Kandy believes she is a lap dog and loves to climb into volunteers laps for a snuggle, out of the big dogs at the shelter she would definitely win "Best cuddlebug".
Kandy attend the K-9 PALS Dog Festival and Great Ball Drop at Elings Park last fall and will be featured again at our next fundraising event, unless she gets adopted before then!
Kandy will be a great dog for some lucky family, or person, who will then be able to attend the FREE training classes offered by K-9 PALS with every adoption. |
