Young Dexter was born on 4/22/2010. Having a known birthday isn't usual around here, but Dexter is pretty special in many ways.
This boy just plain likes people! He's friendly to strangers, wants to say HI! And is a sweet, calm, cuddler who wants to be loved.
Like so many of our dogs here, we wonder just exactly what is in Dexter's mix. We've heard Beagle and Jack and Chi and Doxie - but we know a big part of him is love waiting for a person to share it with.
Dexter isn't trained, but he learns quickly and will do very well in the free obedience classes we give to all our adopters. Bring him in and work with him at home, and you are going to have the perfect addition to your family.
This very sweet boy is waiting for you at the County shelter, and a K9PALS volunteer is waiting to "meet and greet" him with you - come down, fill out an application, ask for Dexter - - and POOF, as is by magic, your family increases by one, and your heart by a thousand. Dexter. Ready. Go. |
