1. Desire for a happy active companion
2. The commitment to lots of basic obedience training
3. Firm, consistent adherence to a zero tolerance for mouthy, jumping behaviors.
This is a friendly dog who loves people, but has never been taught to stay off and not use his mouth and toenails for attention. His big goofy grin, and shiny coat, and athletic abilities would get him all the attention he needs, if only he knew that.
He's a rambunctious pup. He needs firm behavior training. He is also a terrific friendly dog who can turn into a very best buddy.
